The summer with lots of possibilities!

What can you do in the mountains in summer? Hiking is what the most would say. But hiking is more than you would expect. Exercise, closeness to the nature, the silence in the mountain forest with its thousands of scents, the soundscape of an unique wildlife and insect world, the alps with the well-known ringing of cow bells and in addition a wide view over the mountain tops in the evening dusk which leaves breathless – back to the roots!

Of course the summer offers you here a comfortable stay at the bathing lakes or the swimming pools, too. The local golf course is a popular destination for golf lovers and in several riding stables racy horses are waiting for a trip.
What more could you want?
The vast bicycle network in every difficulty level offers tours for the whole family. Whether climbing, rafting, canyoning or a tour in a high ropes course; the sportive, adventurous guest gets his money’s worth!

The winter is for skiing! Isn’t it?

Of course skiing or snowboarding is an experience nobody wants to miss anymore. The smooth ride through the winter landscape, the control of the boards on the snow gives a special kick. The great cross-country network offers a special cross-country skiing pleasure for everybody; young or elder, sportive or as a hobby.

But also a tour with snow shoes in the deep snow covered mountains has an especial, sublime charm. Or a romantic ride with a horse-drawn sleigh through untouched nature or even in a rough, cold full moon night is something very splendid! And who hasn’t made a rustic sleigh ride yet? So it’s about time now! Comfortable winter walkways invite for a relaxing stroll. Wandering through the alleys with the alluring scent of punch or mulled wine tops the cosy winter evening off.

Culture and places worth seeing in the area are available in every season!

Of course is Salzburg, the city of Mozart, as one of the most beautiful cities in the world an attraction for everybody. Whether especially during the Festival- or the advent season, the flair of this city fascinates in every season. The Mirabell Castle with its popular park or the impressing fortress Hohensalzburg, the trick fountains, the Cathedral with its cultural used cathedral’s sqaure, the many tradition-conscious cafés and inns with the romantic gardens, the Old Town in general with its many alleys and squares, the numerous museeums, the multicultural public. All that makes a unique flair, almost a “must see” for our guests.
But there’s also much interesting to see. Salzburg is waiting for you!
The Hohen Werfen castle with its birds of prey show and the shows in traditional chivalry age clothing. The giant ice world, the biggest ice cave of the world, a cave labyrinth with over 40km length. The Liechtensteinklamm with its roaring waterfalls and torrential mass of water in deep gorges – an experience. The World of Salt Dürrnberg with its salt mine – dive into an underground world. Don’t forget to visit Europe’s biggest special museum, the Celtic Museum in Hallein. If you want to know how the people lived between the 16 and 20 century in Salzburg, the open air museum in Großgmain would be an interesting address for you. These are just a few possibilities but you can get more information on the spot.
